Announcement from Dental Avenue
After much consideration, a decision has been made that we will be temporarily closing our dental practice from Friday the 27th of March 2020 until further notice.
Our decision has been made based on the recommendation of the AHPPC and adopting the guidelines from the Australian Dental Association NSW that are driven by the recent increased risk of community transmission of COVID-19 reflected in the increase in the number of confirmed cases in NSW. The health of our staff, dentists, and patients are our priority. We believe that our temporary shutdown will assist in flattening the curve by preventing the further spread of COVID-19. Shutting down comes at a huge financial cost but we believe that health is wealth and is what matters the most at this time.
If you have an appointment booked in with us during this period, our staff will be in contact with you to reorganise your appointment. We are still here to lend an ear during this difficult time. Our phone lines will remain open so feel free to contact us on 8004 0055 if you require emergency dental services such as significant dental infections or trauma; or for any concerns or queries about your dental health. However, non-essential treatment will have to be postponed. We also encourage you to check our website for updates (www.parramattadentalavenue.com.au).
At a time like this, our priority is our community’s health and keeping loved ones safe.
Thank you for supporting Dental Avenue. We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time. We are optimistic that we will all see each other again soon when the world has beaten this pandemic.
Wishing you good health always,
Dr Tony Saad & the Dental Avenue Parramatta Team
